Budget Nazis Arrested For Shooting At Crowd After Richard Spencer Speech
A trio of struggle Nazi members thinking they were doing something important with their time got arrested last week in Florida for recklessly shooting into a crowd after a speech from white nationalist, Richard Spencer. Tyler Tenbrink, and brothers William and Colton Fears all face various charges, including attempted homicide following the Gainesville event that saw a man wearing swastikas catch the most exquisite fade.
Three supporters of white nationalist Richard Spencer were arrested Thursday in connection with a shooting, according to Gainesville police.
William Henry Fears, 30; Colton Gene Fears, 28; and Tyler Eugene Tenbrink, 28; were charged with attempted homicide and held in the Alachua County jail. Tenbrink was also charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon.
At 5:20 p.m. Thursday, a silver Jeep with William Fears and Colton Fears, who are brothers, and Tenbrink pulled up to a bus stop at 3315 SW Archer Road, where a small group of people were sitting. The men began cheering Adolf Hitler and chanting.
One person hit the vehicle’s rear window with a baton, and the car sped away before abruptly stopping.
The outlet adds that Tenbrink was the man who fired a lone shot at counterprotesters about a mile away from Spencer’s talk. The men tried to flee the scene but their tags were written down and handed over to the authorities. Several outlets interviewed the trio of men, who seemingly had plans to cause some kind of scene from the onset.
All of this trouble for Richard Spencer. Probably doesn’t seem all that worth it now, as we can imagine.
